I can live with that. Against the spread? 2-12. That&#8217;s kind of horrifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m 55-39 (.585) straight up, 33-59-2 (.362) against the spread through the first six weeks of the season. I bet I can make it worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s what not to expect in week seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.denverbroncos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Denver<\/a> (+1.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clevelandbrowns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cleveland<\/a><\/strong><br>I don&#8217;t know if one of these 3-3 is better than the other. I do know that neither of them is particularly good. And I know I&#8217;m taking the not good home team over the not good road team. Browns by three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonfootball.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington<\/a> (+7.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.packers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Green Bay<\/a><\/strong><br>The worst defense in the league tries to stop Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. That story doesn&#8217;t end well for Brand X. Packers by 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kcchiefs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kansas City<\/a> (-4.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.titansonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tennessee<\/a><\/strong><br>Forget the outcome. Just bet the over. Titans by three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.atlantafalcons.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta<\/a> (-2.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.miamidolphins.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Miami<\/a><\/strong><br>I don&#8217;t know which team is awfuller. Miami probably. Falcons by a point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">NY Jets<\/a> (+7) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patriots.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">New England<\/a><\/strong><br>You can&#8217;t almost beat the Jets in your own building and walk away with any hope of salvaging your season. But, of course, you can&#8217;t not beat the Jets. Patriots by nine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.panthers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carolina<\/a> (-3) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.giants.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">NY Giants<\/a><\/strong><br>Just finding enough semi-healthy guys to fill out the roster is a triumph for New Jersey at this point. Carolina by four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bengals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cincinnati<\/a> (+6.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimoreravens.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Baltimore<\/a><\/strong><br>The Bengals could maybe beat the Ravens. In Cincinnati. Not here. Baltimore by three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia<\/a> (+3) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.raiders.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Las Vegas<\/a><\/strong><br>I guess distractions aren&#8217;t much of a detriment to the Raiders. Who knew? Las Vegas by a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.detroitlions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Detroit<\/a> (+15) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.therams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LA Rams<\/a><\/strong><br>Here we commence with the college football spreads section of the week seven schedule. I don&#8217;t know how to pick these games. The Rams are winning, obviously, but there&#8217;s no real guessing what the margin might be. Let&#8217;s just say it&#8217;s Los Angeles by 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.houstontexans.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Houston<\/a> (+17.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.azcardinals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona<\/a><\/strong><br>See above immediately above. Arizona by 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagobears.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago<\/a> (+12.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buccaneers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay<\/a><\/strong><br>Tom Brady has some demons to exorcise. Buccaneers by 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.colts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Indianapolis<\/a> (+4) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.49ers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Francisco<\/a><\/strong><br>These are not good football teams. 49ers by a field goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.neworleanssaints.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Orleans<\/a> (-4) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seahawks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle<\/a><\/strong><br>The Seahawks are sunk. The Saints may be, too, before the season is over. But the Seahawks are there now.
