Here&#8217;s what not to expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vikings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota<\/a> (-4) vs.<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.neworleanssaints.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Orleans<\/a>,<\/strong> <strong>Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London<\/strong><br>The Vikings are probably good enough to beat the Saints in any stadium. But not by more than a field goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clevelandbrowns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cleveland<\/a> (-1) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.atlantafalcons.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta<\/a><\/strong><br>If I were smart, I&#8217;d probably take the Browns. Or, I don&#8217;t know. If I were smart and the game was being played in Cleveland, I&#8217;d surely take the Browns. But the game&#8217;s in Atlanta. And I guess I&#8217;m not very smart. Falcons by a point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonfootball.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington<\/a> (+3) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dallascowboys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas<\/a><\/strong><br>The Cowboys probably have outplayed their potential through the first three weeks of this season. But so have the Commanders. Dallas by seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seahawks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle<\/a> (+3.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.detroitlions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Detroit<\/a><\/strong><br>The Seahawks could probably keep this one close if they had an offense. Lions by 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.titansonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tennessee<\/a> (+3.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.colts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Indianapolis<\/a><\/strong><br>The Colts at least have turned in one good game this season. That&#8217;s about as much of an edge as I can identify for either team in this matchup. Indy by six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagobears.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago<\/a> (+3) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.giants.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">NY Giants<\/a><\/strong><br>Although both teams come in at 2-1, the Giants look to me to be there as a solidly middle-of-the-pack squad playing at about the level we&#8217;re likely to see all season. The Bears, on the other hand, I expect to sink as the weeks wear on. Giants by a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jaguars.com\" target=\"_blank\">Jacksonville<\/a> (+6.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia<\/a><\/strong><br>I don&#8217;t know if the Jaguars are for real, but so far, I&#8217;ve got little reason to doubt them. But the Eagles are pretty clearly for real. Jacksonville&#8217;s D keeps it to within a single score, but Philadelphia comes out ahead by four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">NY Jets<\/a> (+3.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.steelers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pittsburgh<\/a><\/strong><br>The Steelers aren&#8217;t good. The Jets are awful. Pittsburgh by seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buffalobills.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Buffalo<\/a> (-3) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimoreravens.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Baltimore<\/a><\/strong><br>Both of these teams are serious contenders. Buffalo, at least at the moment, is better balanced. That matters. Bills by one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chargers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LA Chargers<\/a> (-6) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.houstontexans.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Houston<\/a><\/strong><br>The not having an offense thing appears to be a problem for the Texans. Who would have guessed? Chargers by three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.azcardinals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona<\/a> (+1) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.panthers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carolina<\/a><\/strong><br>The Cardinals should be the better team here, but so far they haven&#8217;t been. Or not by enough anyhow. Panthers by a field goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patriots.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">New England<\/a> (+9.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.packers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Green Bay<\/a><\/strong><br>The Patriots are in for a struggle over the next several weeks as their starting quarterback works to get back on the field. The New England D should be good enough to keep this one from getting out of hand. But the Packers still come out on top. Green Bay by seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.denverbroncos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Denver<\/a> (+2.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.raiders.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Las Vegas<\/a><\/strong><br>The Raiders should be able to win this game. And still they&#8217;ll find a way to lose it. Broncos by three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kcchiefs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kansas City<\/a> (+1) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buccaneers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay<\/a><\/strong><br>I&#8217;m taking the Tampa D to win this one. Buccaneers by four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.therams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LA Rams<\/a> (+1.5) at<\/strong> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.49ers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Francisco<\/a><\/strong><br>And here again in a prime time game I&#8217;m looking for the team with the better D to come out ahead.
